Alejandra Gonzalez is one of JB Wright’s dedicated paraprofessionals, working with the school’s exceptional education students. She has been part of the team for six years and is passionate about her role. Her favorite part of the job is witnessing the incredible progress her students make each day—it’s both inspiring and rewarding for her to see.
Alejandra is also a proud mom to her daughter, Ailey, who attends JB Wright. She loves the convenience of having Ailey at the same school and appreciates knowing all the wonderful staff who work with her daughter.
In addition to her work, Alejandra and her family are actively involved in school life, participating in family events and volunteering together. Her dedication, both at work and at home, makes her an integral and cherished part of the JB Wright community.
Robyn is one of JB Wright Elementary’s incredible paraprofessionals. She has been a part of the school community for eight years and absolutely loves her job, with her favorite part being the opportunity to work with the kids.
Her love for children extends beyond the classroom—her son, Ricky, is also a student at JB Wright. Ricky enjoys having his mom on campus, and Robyn appreciates the convenience of being close to him and the chance to share school breaks together.
Outside of work, Robyn’s favorite pastime is spending quality time with her family. Her warmth and kindness shine through in everything she does, making her a beloved member of the JB Wright community.
Mary Ellen Barley is a familiar and friendly face at the front office of JB Wright Elementary. Beyond greeting visitors with her warm smile, she’s also known as the school’s “stray animal helper.” Anytime a stray dog wanders onto or near campus, Mary Ellen is the first to step in. Equipped with a chip reader in her office, she goes above and beyond to reunite lost pets with their owners.
Her love for animals is nothing short of extraordinary. At home, she cares for an impressive 18 pets, ranging from lizards to cats and dogs. Mary Ellen simply can’t ignore a creature in need.
When she’s not busy rescuing animals, she’s indulging her love of Disney, with Stitch being her all-time favorite character. Mary Ellen’s compassion and enthusiasm make her a true gem at JB Wright Elementary.
